The American Negro Academy celebrated the centenary of Charles Sumner at the Fifteenth Street Presbyterian Church, Washington, D. C., Friday evening, January 6, 1911. On this occasion the program was as follows: “A Mighty Fortress is our God,” by the choir of the church; Invocation, by Rev. L. Z.
